Please take a moment to read this important message from Jim Talent before voting on Tuesday, November 7th:
Your vote is a sacred trust that I take very seriously in my role as a Senator.
That is why I'm writing to you today to ask you personally for your vote.
Elections are about the future and tomorrow's election is in your hands. In less than 24 hours Missouri voters will head to the polls, where we will have the opportunity to decide the direction we want Missouri to go over the next six years.
That's why it's so important that you vote tomorrow. I am asking for your vote and I would be honored to serve another six years to make Missouri and our country better.
Before you vote, please ask yourself these simple questions. First, do you want higher taxes and bigger government, or do you want lower taxes and a government that empowers people? Second, do you want representatives who believe in the values of Washington, D.C. or someone who will stand up for the common sense, conservative values of Missouri?
If you want lower taxes, a government that empowers people and a Senator who will continue to stand up for the common sense, conservative values of Missouri, then
I need your vote tomorrow.
We
can make permanent the tax relief that is driving economic growth and creating jobs in Missouri. We
can lower health insurance costs for small business men and women and their employees.
We
can protect the security of our country by making certain that our service men and women have the tools they need to win the War on Terror. We
can control the border and protect our people from terrorism, drugs and illegal immigration.
We
can empower our farmers and ranchers so they can continue providing America with the safest, most abundant and most affordable food supply in the world.
We
can protect the American flag from public desecration and the Pledge of Allegiance from judges who want to remove the words "under God." We
can protect traditional marriage. We
can protect our Second Amendment rights. And we
can protect the value and dignity of human life at all stages.
The opportunity to serve Missouri in the U.S. Senate - to fight there for the traditions and values of the heartland - has been the greatest professional honor of my life. I am more grateful than you will ever know for giving me that chance, for your faith in me.
We have made this a great campaign about important issues facing our state and our nation. I would be honored to continue standing up for the common sense, conservative values of Missouri as your United States Senator. That is why I'm asking for your vote tomorrow.
With sincere thanks,

Senator Jim Talent
