Senator Talent has worked hard to be Missouri's health care Senator. He is changing Washington and making it work for Missouri health care by:
- Passing a Medicare prescription drug benefit that is helping hundreds of thousands of Missouri seniors
- Sponsoring legislation to lower health care costs for small business people and their workers
- Passing bipartisan legislation to provide increased funding for Missourians with Sickle Cell Disease
- Sponsoring legislation to illuminate the Arch in pink lighting in October in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month
- Passing bipartisan military health care legislation for our men and women in uniform
- Supporting billions of dollars in funding increases for veterans health care
Senator Talent's Plan To Reduce Health Care Costs
Sen. Talent's health care plan would help lower health insurance costs and reduce the number of uninsured Missourians. His plan would allow small business people to join together nationally to sponsor affordable health insurance plans for themselves and their workers.
