When he ran for the Senate, Jim Talent promised to provide a Medicare prescription drug benefit for Missouri seniors. He kept that promise by helping pass the new Medicare prescription drug law.
Now, for the first time in the history of Medicare, Missouri seniors have access to a comprehensive, voluntary drug benefit. As of March 18, more than 600,000 Medicare beneficiaries in Missouri are enrolled in the new prescription drug plans.
